The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge in fiber science, advanced braiding methodologies, and sophisticated material characterization techniques. Reporting to the Global R&D manager, the individual will be responsible for exploring and evaluating new polymeric materials, formulating designs, and facilitating scale-up processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage research and development initiatives focused on polymeric fibers in partnership with a diverse team.
- Drive innovation in fiber and textile research for next-generation product development.
- Execute new material implementations and conduct comprehensive characterization and testing.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to support technology transfer and integration.
- Keep abreast of industry advancements and foster innovation through collaborative efforts.
- Ensure meticulous documentation and reporting of project outcomes.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
