About the Role

Topsider Building Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Woodworking Supervisor to join our team. As a Woodworking Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality wood components for our proprietary post & beam, timber frame building system.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of woodworkers in the fabrication of building components, ensuring timely and accurate production.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate interpretation of shop drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a woodworking job shop, wood furniture manufacturing, cabinet making, finish carpentry, or similar precision manufacturing with wood.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software.
