Controller Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the company's annual budget and forecasting processes.
- Monitor budget performance and provide insights to the executive team.
- Cash Management:
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds for company operations.
- Manage banking relationships and optimize financial processes.
- Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure a smooth audit process.
- Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Provide training and support to team members.
Controller Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA designation preferred).
- Years of proven experience in a Controller or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
