Maintenance Technician (Level Two-Swing or 2nd Shift-M-F)

This is NewCold, a leading provider of cold chain logistics services. We're expanding our teams to support our growth and are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including conveyors, cranes, refrigeration systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained according to supplier guidelines and perform planned preventative maintenance and repairs in a timely and safe manner.
  • Communicate with Planners and System Operators about equipment downtime and coordinate with equipment suppliers for warranty claims, annual maintenance, and significant repairs.
  • Monitor ammonia refrigeration system performance and optimize it as needed.
  • Report, plan, and track all maintenance and engineering issues using maintenance software.
  • Perform general facility maintenance, including minor plumbing, electrical, lighting, and minor building repairs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of work experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Hands-on mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance background.
  • Automated equipment maintenance experience highly preferred (conveyors, automated cranes, palletizers, ASRS).
  • PLC experience a plus.
