The Butts County Fire Department is seeking a skilled Bus Mechanic to join our team in the Transportation Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of school buses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on school buses to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and address any issues or malfunctions.
- Develop and implement repair plans to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Transfer buses as needed to ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with P (Passenger) and S (School Bus) endorsements required within 12 months of employment.
