Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance to our clients in their daily lives, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently.

Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and daily living activities
  • Support individuals with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Help individuals participate in community activities and enjoy their favorite hobbies
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement individualized support plans
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
