Job Title: Middle School Head Coed Dance Coach

The Pingry School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Middle School Head Coed Dance Coach to join our team. As a key member of our athletic department, you will be responsible for leading our Middle School dance program and coaching our coed dance team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive dance program for Middle School students
  • Coach and mentor our coed dance team to achieve academic and athletic excellence
  • Collaborate with other coaching staff and school administrators to ensure the overall success of our athletic program
  • Recruit and retain talented student-athletes to join our dance program
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive team culture
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes
  • Thorough understanding of dance techniques, strategies, and rules
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to the Pingry School's mission of scholarly exploration, personal growth, and social responsibility
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other coaching staff and school administrators
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in dance coaching, preferably at the collegiate and/or high school level
  • Club coaching experience preferred
  • Competed at the collegiate level or possess substantial high school experience
  • Prior coaching experience, preferably within an educational environment
