We are seeking a highly skilled Traveling Nuclear Medicine Specialist for a 13-week contract in Wichita, KS. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a renowned healthcare organization and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

About the Role:
  • This position involves performing various diagnostic procedures using nuclear medicine techniques.
  • You will be responsible for acquiring and processing patient studies, setting up reading for physicians, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
  1. Independent Practice: You will independently perform all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures.
  2. Patient Care: Focus on providing safe and effective examinations while ensuring patient comfort and dignity.
  3. Teamwork: Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  4. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
  • BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
  • At least 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine (Certified Nuclear Medicine)
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - 80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive package including health insurance coverage, 401K matching, and new licensing reimbursement.
