Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist

As an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for identifying patient needs and priorities for care through assessment and planning that is consistent with the patient's expectation of treatment. This role requires at least one year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), preferably in Critical Care, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), or Electrophysiology (EP). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is also required.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cardiac disease and its various manifestations. You will work closely with patients who are undergoing diagnostic or interventional procedures, administering medications and monitoring their condition throughout the process. Effective communication skills are essential to ensure seamless collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Administer medications, including monitoring and documenting response
- Monitor the patient's overall status pre, during, and post-procedure
- Communicate patient changes to physician
- Schedule procedures, including entering reservations
- Maintain narcotic counts on a daily basis
