**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide primary and consultative care to patients in the hospital setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians and other healthcare team members
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing
  • Order and interpret laboratory and radiographic tests as needed
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by state law and hospital policy
  • Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

**Requirements:**

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • State licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) in Wisconsin
  • 2+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
