Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a local contract position in Arlington, Texas.
Job Description:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to work with students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in education or equivalent experience, a Texas SLP License, and American Heart Association BLS certification.
The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing, screening, evaluating, and sharing results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team. They will also develop and implement IEPs for students, review goals and objectives, and make recommendations for appropriate care plans.
The Speech Language Pathologist will work with students who have difficulty swallowing or communication disorders, and will establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student.
Requirements:- Master's degree in education or equivalent experience
- Texas SLP License
- American Heart Association BLS
- School experience preferred but not required
- ASHA Certification
