The selected individual will engage in advanced research and educational initiatives in the Barbier Laboratory, focusing on the development of monoclonal antibodies targeting various pathogens. Responsibilities will encompass the enhancement of research projects, laboratory oversight, mentorship, and instructional duties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct innovative research in monoclonal antibody development, emphasizing antibody engineering, therapeutic applications, and immune response evaluation.
- Collaborate with the principal investigator to establish and achieve project objectives.
- Publish and disseminate research findings in esteemed, peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Engage in interdisciplinary research collaborations.
- Deliver lectures in undergraduate and graduate courses related to immunology and microbiology, contributing to curriculum development.
- Supervise and guide undergraduate and graduate students, as well as post-doctoral fellows.
- Train laboratory personnel on established protocols and ensure compliance with guidelines.
- Collect, analyze, and present research data effectively.
- Assist in preparing progress reports for funding proposals.
- Promote a collaborative and efficient research atmosphere.
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five (5) years of pertinent experience with a robust background in monoclonal antibody research.
- Demonstrated history of publications in reputable, peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Experience in laboratory management and student mentorship.
- Ability to independently design and conduct experiments.
- Experience in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques relevant to immunology and microbiology, particularly in monoclonal antibody research.
- Capacity to work collaboratively and foster a productive research and educational environment.
- Highly organized with effective record-keeping practices.
