Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning.
  • Develop and implement personalized education plans (PEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Provide counseling and support to students on various issues, including academic concerns, social-emotional problems, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to develop and implement interventions to address students' needs.
  • Work closely with parents and families to provide support and resources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.
  • Valid and current state license to practice special education.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working as a special education teacher in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and intervention techniques.
  • Experience in developing and implementing PEPs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
