Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Specialist to join our team at BradyPLUS. As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, minimizing inventory loss, and safeguarding company assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Audit and investigate sources of known losses to prevent future occurrences.
  • Monitor inventory levels to identify theft or shortages and implement measures to prevent them.
  • Develop and implement systems to minimize loss of inventory and improve overall inventory management.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and provide daily justification sheets to management.
  • Communicate and develop process enhancements to improve operational procedures and maintain high productivity levels.
  • Research and implement additional security measures to prevent theft at point of sale or inventory storage areas.
  • Conduct periodic testing of video surveillance systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in inventory control in a distribution setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detailed oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and order pickers.
Working Environment

The Inventory Specialist will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 15-lb. objects and stand or walk for extended periods of time.
