Job Title: Registered Nurse - Addiction Recovery Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Addiction Recovery Care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our addiction treatment program.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for conducting nursing assessments, monitoring clients, and providing education on health and wellness. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nursing assessments and monitoring of clients
  • Member of the treatment team
  • Handles medication management and trains staff on medication dispensing
  • Ensures universal precautions of the center
  • Facilitates health education groups, including general health education and medication/drug interactions
  • Observes and assesses clients for clinical signs and symptoms and follows the prescribed course of treatment
  • Determines and implements specific protocols as designated by the doctor
  • Protects the privacy of all client information in accordance with Addiction Recovery Care's privacy policies and procedures
  • Maintains a respectful relationship with clients and confidentiality at all times
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with staff and consumers alike
  • Brings policy/personnel issues to supervision as they arise
  • Ability to interact with a multidisciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health
  • Ability to communicate with the case manager and assist in ensuring the safety of the client
  • Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and assumption of responsibilities not delineated in the job description
  • Ability to interact with staff and clients in a professional manner
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Attention to detail and organization a must
  • Computer literate with experience in a Windows environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and work-related responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kentucky
  • 2 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
  • Substance abuse experience preferred
