Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Gundersen Health System. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

• Assess patients' cardiopulmonary status to develop, revise, implement, and evaluate respiratory care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Identify and address special needs of patients in outpatient settings.
• Provide education and training to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the state of Wisconsin.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within two years of hire date.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
