Physician - Hospitalist

At St. Tammany Health System, we strive to deliver exceptional healthcare services to our community. As a Hospitalist Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our adult patients.
Job Summary:
The Hospitalist Physician will be responsible for admitting and caring for hospitalized adult patients, working closely with our medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to our system's standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with our medical staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree and Board Certification in an appropriate specialty.
- Background and experience in the care of hospitalized patients.
- Licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine.
- Member in good standing of the St. Tammany Parish Hospital Medical Staff.
Physical Demands:
The Hospitalist Physician must possess good physical health and be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required, and the ability to work in a moderate noise level environment is necessary.
