We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at ATI. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of machinist operations, including planning, layout, machining, and verifying standards for use in ultrasonic testing.
Key Responsibilities- Perform precision milling, drilling, and EDM burning with close tolerances.
- Setup and operate milling machine, precision lathe, precision drill press, EDM machine, and shadowgraph.
- Use precision measuring instruments, including vernier height gage, micrometer, depth gage, micrometer caliper, and dial indicator.
- Machine various tools used in connection with EDM machine.
- Operate material handling equipment to lift and position heavier workpieces.
- Detect and report defective materials, equipment operating improperly, personal mistakes, and unusual conditions to proper supervision.
- Fulfill record keeping documentation for audits.
- Machine parts for other maintenance departments and production material.
- Perform daily responsibilities using hand tools, bandsaws, belt sanders, torch, and welding equipment.
- General high school diploma.
- Must be able to maintain IME certification by fulfilling all requirements.
- Two-year trade school or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electrical is required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating milling machine and precision lathes.
