Automotive Service Technician

As an Automotive Service Technician at Meineke, you will be responsible for a variety of vehicle repair tasks that ensure optimal performance and safety for our customers' vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) and other service recommendations to address customer needs effectively.
- Conduct thorough assessments of vehicles and prepare detailed estimates for necessary repairs.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding the causes of their vehicle issues and the corrective actions required.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding their vehicles with professionalism.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Perform comprehensive and accurate courtesy inspections using our digital e-inspection tool.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and subscriptions provided by the company to troubleshoot vehicle issues.

Who You Are- You possess confidence in using the right tools and have the experience and knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently.
- You are comfortable handling the challenges that come with automotive repair work.
- You are committed to continuous learning and take advantage of training opportunities to enhance your skills.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience in automotive service.
- Demonstrated experience as an automotive technician.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle components.
- Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic systems and methodologies.
- Ability to operate various tools and heavy equipment safely.
- Commitment to following safety protocols to prevent accidents and exposure to hazardous materials.
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting and carrying items over 50 lbs.
- Able to maintain a fast-paced work environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ongoing training to maintain A.S.E. certification and adapt to evolving technology and fleet requirements.
Physical RequirementsThis role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and the ability to tolerate noise and exhaust from vehicles. Vision capabilities include close, distance, and color vision, as well as depth perception.
