About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health. In this role, you will specialize in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients.
Responsibilities
- Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for the examination.
- Review clinical data on requisition forms and conduct appropriate examinations.
- Obtain additional information about patients' medical histories as necessary.
- Prepare procedure rooms and regularly replenish stocks such as linen and related supplies.
- Analyze anatomical structure, set up equipment, and perform CT scans.
- Manually control equipment to obtain proper diagnostic information from areas of the body being studied.
- Administer intravenous contrast media, utilize power injectors, and monitor patient reactions.
- Provide immediate care for any reactions that occur.
Requirements
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible.
- BLS certification required.
- Demonstrated customer service values; demonstrated teamwork and flexibility; self-directed; commitment to diversity and team concept.
