Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced automotive technician to join our team at Christian Brothers Automotive. As a European Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, with a focus on European and German vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
  • Complete thorough and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with the service department to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
  • Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional results

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and a strong desire to serve customers
  • Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably with European or German vehicles
  • 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
  • ASE certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
  • Ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles
  • Meet or exceed hourly goals
  • Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills
  • Desire for long-term career development

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of heavy objects (over 100 pounds)
  • Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above head level
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
  • Have the necessary dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
  • Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
  • Drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Efficiently navigate a computer
