Job Summary

MedVanta is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network and cloud infrastructure. This includes designing and deploying cloud-based services and solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the integration of network and cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage network/cloud infrastructure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Deploy and maintain cloud-based services and solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of network and cloud solutions.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot network and cloud-related issues both remotely and onsite as required.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients during offsite visits.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary measures to safeguard network and cloud environments.
  • Install, repair, replace, configure, and test network equipment. May involve procurement of network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest networking and cloud technologies and trends.
  • Provide tier II support to support desk staff.
  • Work with leadership and IT team to develop, implement, and improve disaster recovery procedures.
  • Report network status, cases, and project progress to Director of IT and Data Security and key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Commensurate experience (minimum of 5 years) may be considered.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience working as a Network/Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the same or a similar role, preferably in an organization and environment similar to MedVanta.
  • Proven experience successfully collaborating across multiple functional areas and departments.
  • Proven experience successfully innovating in a fast-growing work environment while dealing with ambiguity as a self-starter with integrity and a driven work ethic.
