Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the supervisor and manager, including preparing reports, reviewing applications, and processing certificates.
  • Assist in the maintenance of technical and administrative files, including the Safety Assurance System environment.
  • Conduct research and gather information to support the development of reports and other documents.
  • Interact with offices and the public, providing information and assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (Notification of Personnel Action) containing information in Blocks 15, 17, 18, 19, 22, and 24.
  • Must type 40 wpm based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
Qualifications
  • To qualify for the FG-6 level, you must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-D, FG/GS-5 level.
  • To qualify for the FG-7 level, you must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-E, FG/GS-6 level.
Education

College education is not qualifying substitution for experience.

  • This position requires completion and favorable adjudication of a National Agency Check with inquiry (NACI) background investigation prior to appointment.
