Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter Specialist to join our team at Turner Industries in Piedmont, SC.


Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year
Job Description

Laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing and maintaining piping and piping systems, fixtures and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling and industrial processing systems is a key responsibility of this role.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Selecting size and type of pipe and related material according to job specifications;
  • Inspecting work sites to determine presence of obstructions and to ascertain that holes will not cause structural weakness;
  • Planning sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers;
  • Cutting, threading and bending pipe;
  • Assembling and installing a variety of metal and nonmetal pipe fittings;
  • Joining pipe by means of threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, fused or cemented joints;
  • Serving as the primary contact for the client regarding all matters related to project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and resource allocation;
