Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Enloe Medical Center. As a Medical Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our medical providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic administrative and clerical tasks, including patient registration, scheduling, and billing.
  • Assist medical providers with routine medical procedures, such as lab draws, injections, and vital sign collection.
  • Prepare patients for clinician evaluation and apply and remove dressings as needed.
  • Administer intramuscular, subcutaneous, and inhaled medications under the supervision of a licensed physician or designated mid-level provider.
  • Interact professionally and effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and the public.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program or associate degree or higher in a clinical healthcare field.
  • One year of medical assistant experience or previous phlebotomy experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Front medical office experience, including reception, registration, scheduling, billing, and medical record functions.
