Perinatal Sonography Specialist

About WakeMed:

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a Perinatal Sonographer, you will operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of the unborn fetus and female pelvis under the supervision of a physician.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct fetal surveillance and antenatal monitoring using sonography
* Assist supervising physicians with invasive procedures as required
* Record images electronically in our image archive and reporting system
* Provide preliminary findings to supervising physicians

**Requirements:**

* 3 years of clinical experience in ultrasound, preferred
* Graduate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology
* Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - OB/GYN certification required, Fetal Echocardiography certification preferred

**Work Schedule:**

* Monday-Thursday: 7:45am-5:00pm
* Friday: 7:45am-12:45pm

**No Weekends or Call Requirements:**
