Job Title: Line Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Friendship Village Retirement Community. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring a delicious and satisfying dining experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food to order, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident feedback and concerns.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work every other weekend and holidays.
