Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment and ensuring that high-quality images are produced for medical interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for medical interpretation
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring their safety
  • Position patients correctly for MRI scans, using immobilization and protective equipment as needed
  • Assist radiologists with procedure performance and ensure that images are accurately labeled and stored
  • Start IVs, administer contrast media as directed, and follow safety procedures when working with radiation
  • Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • ARRT National certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
