ResponsibilitiesAs a respiratory therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with cardiopulmonary disease across the continuum of care. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and provide continuity of care in a financially responsible manner.
You will be expected to quickly and accurately assess patients' conditions, communicate effectively with the care team, and respond to changes in patients' conditions, diagnostic study results, symptomatology, and treatment outcomes.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous hospital experience, preferably in respiratory therapy
- Graduation from an accredited school of respiratory therapy and basic computer literacy
- Desire for continuous quality improvement and good verbal and written communication skills
- Valid permission to practice with the licensing board in the state of hire and the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential upon hire or within one year of employment
