About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Program Manager to lead our 21st Century Learning program. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership, teaching, and communication skills.

Job Summary:

  • Provide academic instruction to club members during 21st Century program hours.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Collaborate with the School-Based Club Director to ensure seamless communication with parents.

Responsibilities:

Teaching and Curriculum Development
  • Design and deliver high-quality educational programs for club members in reading, English language arts, science, mathematics, and STEM subjects.
  • Create lesson plans that incorporate hands-on, creative, and innovative techniques to promote student engagement and learning.
Club Operations and Management
  • Maintain accurate records and files related to club operations, member progress, and staff activities.
  • Manage materials, equipment, and time effectively to ensure efficient delivery of programs.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Foster positive relationships with club members, colleagues, and community partners to promote a supportive and inclusive environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in teaching, preferably in a not-for-profit setting.
  • Certifications: Current Florida Educator's Certificate and CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
