Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Histotechnology courses at Alamance Community College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Histotechnology and experience in teaching/training in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching of HTO courses
  • Preparation and conduct of student laboratory sessions
  • Performing related administrative duties
  • Other duties as required by the HTO Department Head and/or HTO full-time faculty
Requirements
  • AAS degree in Histotechnology and nationally recognized certification as a Histotechnologist or Histotechnician
  • Minimum two years of clinical laboratory experience
  • Preferred experience in teaching/training in a clinical setting and community college-level teaching
