Key Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One to six years related work experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, blue prints, and electrical schematic diagrams.
  • Knowledge of Nation Electric Codes preferred.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondents.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with and respond to problems in standard work situations.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Ability to obtain a mobile equipment license, forklift certification, side-loader certification, electric pallet jack certification, and overhead crane certification are preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, test equipment, meters, and gauges.
  • Ability to gas, MIG, TIG, and arc weld in a proficient and safe manner.
  • Requires basic skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and understanding of 110V, 220V, and 480V power and control systems.
  • Must have own tools and locking tool chest.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
