Join Our Team as a Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role

As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiographs (x-rays), fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities. You will work closely with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images using appropriate technical factors and techniques
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Document all pertinent clinical information and obtain informed consent from patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Check and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
Requirements
  • 2-year/Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Valid ARRT certification and clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
