Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science. As a Research Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our laboratory members with molecular and cellular experiments, as well as performing basic laboratory maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist laboratory members with basic molecular and cellular techniques and methods.
  • Perform routine laboratory maintenance duties such as replenishing reagents, ordering supplies, and analyzing data.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of laboratory protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry.
  • Some college-level biology lab experience.
  • Basic knowledge of molecular and cellular biology techniques, including pipetting, culturing bacteria, and gel electrophoresis.
  • Familiarity with standard Windows Office software.
