We are seeking an experienced Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at TotalMed. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $92,411 per year ($2,275.96 / week), reflecting the unique demands and rewards of this role. In addition to a generous compensation package, we offer a comprehensive benefits program, including 401(k) matching, licensure and relocation assistance, continuing education opportunities, and housing support.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to take their career to the next level. You will be responsible for:
- Providing specialized nursing care for pediatric patients in the PICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assessing patients' conditions
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supporting patients and their families emotionally and providing education on treatments and procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to hospital policies and protocols
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license and BLS certification
- At least 2 years of recent experience in PICU nursing
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
