Practice SettingThe practice is a Level I NICU, with transfers to Sacramento-area hospitals as needed. The ambulatory clinic provides a supportive environment for office visits and procedures.
- Key Features:
- NICU Level I with transfers to Sacramento-area hospitals as needed
- Ambulatory clinic for office visits and procedures
- Support staff includes an assigned medical assistant, 2 other FT OBGYN physicians, and APP support
- Comprehensive training process, including EHR training and policy/procedure orientation
The locum physician will be responsible for a variety of cases and procedures, including:
- Routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps), FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE), OB ultrasounds
- Complicated deliveries (C-section, multiple births, abruptions), VBACs, repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
- Minor gynecology procedures, including IUD insertion and cystoscopy
The locum physician will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with 7 days of call coverage and an average of 12 callback hours.
Travel and LodgingAirfare and lodging will be provided.
