Overview

We are seeking a Dining Room Attendant to join our team at Whitsons Culinary Group. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation and Service: Assist in preparing food, serve meals to students and staff, and perform cleaning duties as needed.
  • Cleaning Duties: Sweep and mop floors, clean equipment and work areas, wash dishes and pots, and brew coffee.
  • Supplies Management: Check and store incoming supplies, collect and strip trays for dishwashing, and store silverware, dishes, glasses, cups, and other items.
  • Safety and Compliance: Participate on the safety committee and attend all mandatory in-service programs.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Deliver food to staff, students, and catering events when necessary, prepare and serve food according to menus, and support the company's goals, objectives, and mission statement.

Requirements

  • Physical Demands: Be on feet most of the workday, move back and forth, lift or move up to 40 pounds, and move side to side.

Benefits

  • Competitive Pay: $16.00 per hour
  • Floater Position: On-call and as-needed basis
