Job Summary

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Interventional Radiology department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing vascular imaging and procedures, collaborating with radiologists, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all phases of Interventional Radiologic procedures, including assisting as an IR scrub tech.
  • Operate specialized radiographic equipment to perform interventional procedures, including angiography, fluoroscopy, and vascular imaging.
  • Assist Radiologists and other physicians in performing minimally invasive procedures, such as biopsies, angioplasties, and catheter placements.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort, safety, and understanding of the procedure details.
  • Monitor patient condition during procedures, responding promptly to any changes and assisting with patient care as needed.
  • Maintain sterile technique and infection control practices during interventional procedures.
  • Document procedure details, patient responses, and any adverse reactions accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure procedural efficiency.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and procedural outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding interventional procedures and post-procedure care.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Radiologic Technology.
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography required; additional certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) is a plus.
  • State licensure or certification as required for radiologic technologists.
  • Vascular Radiology Technician experience is highly desirable.
  • EPIC experience is a plus.
  • BLS certification is required.
