Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - OR Perioperative

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room at WellSpan Health. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our surgical patients.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse - OR Perioperative will provide nursing care to patients in the Operating Room environment. This includes preparing patients for surgery, administering medications, and providing post-operative care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients in the Operating Room environment
  • Prepare patients for surgery, including administering medications and preparing the patient for the surgical procedure
  • Provide post-operative care to patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
Requirements:
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
  • 1 year of experience in a perioperative setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
