We are currently seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our team in the Birmingham Area. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch security services, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot, observing for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
  • Sound alarms or call the authorities in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
  • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
  • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements.
  • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
  • Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Have the ability to communicate professionally verbally and written.
  • Have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Be punctual to work.
  • Willing to accept assignments and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Current and active armed security license.
  • Must own your own firearm and duty belt.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • A clean background.
