Job Summary:

As a Medical Imaging Technologist at SSM Health, you will play a critical role in obtaining high-quality images to diagnose and treat various pathologies. Your expertise will be essential in preparing patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters, and ensuring the accuracy of images.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Select anatomic and technical parameters to produce high-quality images.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transferring images as needed.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly, reporting any issues to maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a radiology program.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
  • ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification.
Work Environment:

As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with variable shifts. You will be required to stand and walk frequently, use vision and depth perception, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
