Pediatrician Faculty Position at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport

We are seeking a highly qualified Pediatrician to join our faculty at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a large academic multispecialty department with active clinical and basic research programs.
Your primary responsibilities will include a Pediatric practice with patient care, resident and medical student education. You will also have protected time to pursue clinical and/or laboratory research interests. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The Children's Hospital at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Ochsner LSU Health St. Mary is the only major academic medical center in the area, receiving patients from a catchment area with a radius of approximately miles, which includes a population of approximately 1 million people.
Shreveport is an attractive, comfortable, small southern city with excellent schools, good restaurants, and multicultural opportunities. It is an excellent place to raise children.
