Job Description:

This role encompasses professional and supervisory work in the operation of our creative arts therapy department. You will establish and implement comprehensive therapeutic group and individual therapy programs, conduct assessments, and develop treatment goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement evidence-based creative arts therapy programs to promote patient recovery and well-being.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' strengths and weaknesses, informing treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment goals and objectives.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions using art, music, drama, dance, or poetry to support patient recovery.
Requirements:
  • Valid New York State Education Department license or limited permit.
  • Two years of full-time experience in creative arts therapy (Assignment Level II).
  • One additional year of experience for Assignment Level III.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 and $90,000, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and professional development opportunities.
