Music Therapist

The Music Therapist will provide music therapy services to patients under the guidance of the clinical supervisor and in accordance with their individualized plan of care.

• Deliver Music Therapy Services: Provide music therapy sessions to patients, focusing on alleviating symptoms of anxiety, agitation, restlessness, depression, pain, emotional distress, and social isolation.
  
• Assess Patient Needs: Evaluate patients to determine the appropriateness of music therapy services and assess the effectiveness of therapy.
  
• Collaborate with Clinical Team: Work with the clinical team to provide education and awareness about music therapy and its applications.
  
• Document Patient Progress: Maintain accurate records of patient progress, including clinical notes, problem charting, and coordination notes.
  

To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy, completion of the National Certification Exam (CBMT) credentials of MT-BC Music Therapy Board Certified, and a valid driver's license with an insured automobile in good working order.
