Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at LifeLinc Corporation. As a key member of our anesthesia team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role:

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will be responsible for performing and documenting pre-anesthetic assessments, selecting and administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids, and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing patient airways, managing emergence and recovery from anesthesia, and releasing or discharging patients from the post-anesthesia care area.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations
  • Select and administer pre-anesthetic medications and fluids
  • Obtain informed consent for anesthesia
  • Manage patient airways
  • Manage emergence and recovery from anesthesia
  • Release or discharge patients from the post-anesthesia care area
  • Provide post-anesthetic follow-up evaluation and care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing and a graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetist Educational Programs
  • Successful completion of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Certification
  • At least two years of independent experience
  • ACLS/BLS/PALS certification
