Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic computerized tomography examinations, operating complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment, and ensuring that routine and priority tasks are completed within established departmental time frames.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs diagnostic computerized tomography examinations, including routine and priority tasks.
  • Operates complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment, ensuring proper function and maintenance.
  • Prepares for and assists physicians in CT diagnostic and/or guidance imaging during invasive procedures.
  • Explains and educates patients on procedures, medications, and contrast media, alleviating fear and anxiety.
  • Mentors and fosters a constructive environment for students and new technologists to build confidence in their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • CRT certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • BLS certification as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • RHF certification as a Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire, if required.
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience in diagnostic computerized tomography.
