Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Technician to join our healthcare team at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses and therapists.
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs, monitor and record daily intake and output, and perform EKGs and blood glucose monitoring.
  • Communicate patient needs and observed changes in patient condition to supervising licensed nurses, physicians, or therapists.
  • Document all interactions in patient medical records as directed by licensed nurses, physicians, or therapists.
  • Assist licensed therapists in performing therapeutic procedures and carry out assigned rehabilitation technician duties.
Requirements
  • Azizona Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Healthcare education in a related area
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aide to the Occupational Therapist (OTR/L), Physical Therapist (PT), Registered Nurse (RN), Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
