Job Summary

The Supportive Living House Coordinator provides leadership and oversight to assist the Manager in ensuring the well-being and safety of residents. This role involves performing regular duties, working with the Director of Operations to monitor residents and rooms, and maintaining a clean and respectful living environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign household chores to residents and monitor their rooms for cleanliness.
  • Ensure residents respect and maintain common areas, including the kitchen and living room.
  • Monitor residents' adherence to house rules, including curfew and lights-out hours.
  • Maintain an inventory of household supplies and prepare bedrooms for new residents.
  • Welcome and introduce new residents to existing residents and review program and house rules.
  • Establish and maintain strong communication with the Manager and Directors regarding resident safety and well-being.
  • Monitor the safety of the environment, maintain updated knowledge of policies and procedures, and participate in fire drills and emergency codes.
  • Complete daily rounds for safety, monitor appliance use, and complete maintenance reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality and attend mandatory staff meetings and in-services.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience in public or private institutional care for the type of population served.
  • Certified Peer Recovery Specialist certification required within 30 days.
  • NARCAN certification required during onboarding.
  • CPR certification required within 30 days.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license and good driving record.
  • Pass the Caregiver Background Check.
