You will serve as the primary liaison for patients at our Radiation Oncology facilities, ensuring they have a seamless and supportive experience.


Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate daily communication with patients from the moment they are scheduled for treatment.
• Aid patients in comprehending their upcoming steps and provide essential information for their appointments.
• Ensure patients arrive equipped with all necessary documentation and information.
• Promote clear and professional dialogue between patients and the healthcare team.
• Secure required authorizations and clarify the approval process to patients.
• Proactively manage and navigate the patient process, adeptly handling frequent interruptions or distractions.
• Assist with general duties, including triaging phone calls.

Salary:
$29.42- $42.14 hourly

Qualifications Required:
• Proficiency in utilizing CareConnect for patient registration, encounters, and arrivals, as well as retrieving patient records.
• Competence in using Word and Excel.
• Ability to type with speed and precision.
• Familiarity with University structure and policies to effectively address questions, referrals, and documentation.
• Working knowledge of Thoracic Surgical Oncology, cancer, and medical terminology.

• Skill in prioritizing tasks amidst a heavy workload, deadlines, interruptions, and competing service requests to complete assignments efficiently.

• Ability to read correspondence and other written communications to assess urgency and determine appropriate notifications.

• Proficiency in composing grammatically correct routine business correspondence, including informational letters, memoranda, and notification letters.
