Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care within the Obstetrics department, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs of each patient.
  • Assess, plan, and deliver direct bedside nursing care, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
  • Supervise and direct other healthcare employees, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, systematically evaluating the effectiveness of nursing practice and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Engage in hourly rounding to ensure patient satisfaction and comfort.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and safe work practices, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics and Labor and Delivery (L&D) nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification upon completion of orientation.
  • NRP and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification upon completion of orientation.
Compensation

$66.64 hourly. Individual wages may vary based on qualifications and experience.
